Description
Salud Pediatrics seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our community-focused, single-location pediatric practice in Algonquin, IL. The NP will provide comprehensive primary care, including well-child exams, acute visits, chronic disease management, behavioral health support, and vaccinations, for a diverse mix of privately insured and Medicaid patients.
Schedule & Setting:
- 5 days per week (8-hour days)
- Alternating Saturdays (5 hours) with one weekday off on those weeks
- Single outpatient office; no hospital rounding
- Hospital affiliations: Advocate Sherman and Ascension (no inpatient responsibilities)
- Athenahealth EHR in a supportive, collaborative environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range (FTE): $115,000 – $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience (prorated for part-time)
- Performance-based bonus eligibility

Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or APRN program
- Board-certified or board-eligible as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- 1–2+ years of pediatric NP experience preferred; strong new graduates will be considered
- No required travel; single office location
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Athenahealth EHR
- Spanish language skills a plus
- Commitment to high-quality, family-centered pediatric care in an independent practice setting
